Haryana: Accused dies of falling from fourth floor of district Court: Police brought him to present in Court

In Haryana's Panipat, accused jumped from the fourth floor of the district court on Friday. He died on the spot as soon as he fell down.

Panipat: In Haryana’s Panipat, accused jumped from the fourth floor of the district court on Friday. He died on the spot as soon as he fell down. The young man was an accused in a case of robbery and Arms Act. The police had brought him to the court to present him in the court.

Accused ran away after releasing himself from police personnel. He fell straight down from the fourth floor through the back door.

After this, the police immediately took him to the civil hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. The Panchnama of the body has been filled and kept in the mortuary. The deceased has been identified as Saurav (30), a resident of Saudapur village.

He was arrested for beating, stabbing and robbing an auto driver.

The accused Saurav was absconding since the incident. He was also declared a fugitive by the court some time ago. The police had raided every possible hideout in search of him, but he was not caught. On Thursday (30 May 2024) night, the police arrested Saurav for the first time on the basis of secret information.
