Chandigarh: The Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau team arrested Head Constable Vikas working in Sonipat district red handed while taking a bribe of ₹5000. The accused head constable was demanding bribe from the complainant after the settlement of the complaint received against his mother in Sadar Police Station.
Giving information about this, the government spokesperson said that the ACB team received a complaint that Head Constable Vikas working in Sonipat was demanding a bribe of ₹5000 after the settlement of the complaint received against the complainant’s mother. In this case, the accused was also not returning the original documents of the registry of the plot in the name of the complainant’s mother to the complainant.
In this case, the ACB team arrested the accused Vikas red red-handed while taking a bribe of ₹5000. Action has been taken against the accused by registering a case in the Anti Corruption Bureau Rohtak Police Station.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau team is investigating the case by collecting all the necessary evidence. The spokesperson of the Bureau appealed to the general public and said that if any officer or employee demands bribe in lieu of doing government work, then immediately inform about it on the toll-free number of Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau.
