Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau team arrested two officers of the department on bribery charges

In this case, a case has been registered against the accused at Anti Corruption Bureau Police Station, Hisar and he has been arrested. The case is being investigated by the Anti Corruption Bureau team by collecting all the necessary evidence.

Chandigarh : The Hisar team of Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau has arrested SDE Girish Kumar of Public Health Engineering Department, Division-2 and Clerk Vinod Kumar of Hansi Division on charges of taking bribe. ACB team has recovered bribe money worth ₹ 17000 from the office drawer of accused Girish Kumar.

Giving information about this, the spokesperson of Anti Corruption Bureau said that on the basis of information, the team of Anti Corruption Bureau laid a trap to catch the accused. Accused Girish Kumar had demanded a bribe of Rs 45,000 from the complainant in exchange for getting the bill passed, out of which ₹ 20,000 had already been taken from the complainant by clerk Vinod Kumar and ₹ 8,000 by Girish Kumar.

In this case, the remaining bribe amount of ₹ 17000 has been recovered from the office drawer of the accused. This entire proceeding was conducted with complete transparency in front of the witnesses.
