2.25 lakh rupees steals from teacher house in Bhiwani

The family had gone to the village to celebrate the grandson's birthday. Gold and silver jewellery were also stolen. 

Bhiwani: In Haryana’s Bhiwani, thieves broke the lock of a retired teacher’s house and stole 2 lakh 25 thousand rupees in cash and gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. At the time of the theft, the family had gone to the village to attend a birthday party. The police reached the spot and investigated. The police have registered a case.

Ved Prakash, a resident of village Purnapura, presently Kot Road Bekunt, Bhiwani, said that he is a retired teacher from the education department. On Sunday, at around 8 p.m., he closed his house on Kot Road and went to Purnapura village to celebrate his grandson’s birthday. Today, when he came to our house with his son, the lock of the house was found to be broken. The items were scattered inside the house. The lock on the trunk kept there was also found to be broken.

Vedprakash said that when he checked the stuff kept inside his house, he found 2 gold rings, 1 gold chain, 2 pairs of gold earrings, 2 gold Oms, 1 gold tika, 2 pairs of silver anklets, 2 silver tagdis, and 5 pairs of silver bangles missing from the bedsheet kept in his house.

Not only this, the thieves also stole 2 lakh, 25 thousand cash. He informed the Industrial Police Station about the incident. The police reached the spot and investigated the incident, but they could not get any clues on how to reach the thieves. The police are also searching the CCTV cameras installed nearby so that the thieves can be reached. The police have registered a case. The incidents of theft are continuously increasing in the city. Due to this the local people are upset.
