This has also given relief to the farmers from the problem of frost in the month of January. Talking about January, this time 3 western disturbances (WD) have come in the interval of 5 to 6 days. Light to moderate rain has occurred in Haryana on January 5, January 11 and January 15.
Out of these, two western disturbances were weak, but heavy rain was seen due to one western disturbance. At the same time, rain and hailstorm were seen due to western disturbance in December. But this time due to continuous western disturbances one after the other, the temperature did not go towards the freezing point.
This time the temperature was between 5 to 10 degrees
Talking about Haryana, in December and January the temperature often went below 0 degrees or even minus, but this time the temperature was recorded between 5 to 10 degrees.
Weather will change after January 21
According to the Agricultural Meteorological Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, the weather and wind direction will change once again in Haryana due to the activation of a new western disturbance on January 21. Also, during January 22-24, light rain and drizzle may occur in the entire region along with hailstorm at one or two places. The bone-chilling cold will continue till the end of January.
