In a complaint given to the Atela outpost police under Badhra police station, Prahlad, a resident of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, said that he is working as a clerk at Surya Stone Crusher in Pichopa Kalan. He told me that on July 13, the motor of the water borewell of the stone crusher had broken down. He had switched off the electricity supply to repair the motor.

At the same time, he received calls from some people living in the neighbourhood who were forcibly taking electricity from his borewell.

The said people abused him on the phone and threatened to kill him.

Munshi alleges that around 11 p.m., 6-7 men came in a Scorpio car and started beating him as soon as they reached the stone crusher. The said people vandalized the place, broke the laptop, printer, and glass all around them, and left threateningly.

While leaving, these people also took away cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh from the cash box and the DVR of the CCTV camera. Munshi made a written complaint to the police on Saturday and demanded legal action. The police are investigating the matter.
