Panipat: Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini will come to Panipat this afternoon. He is coming to rally at the grain market on GT Road. The BJP has intensified its preparations to go to the assembly elections. In this sequence, during the rally, the Chief Minister will give tokens of one lakh rupees each to 1062 BPL families to buy plots of 100–100 square yards.
At the same time, 80–80 thousand rupees will also be transferred to the bank accounts of 25 beneficiaries for house repair. From July, the government is going to increase the pension to Rs 3000. Some elderly people who got new pensions have also been invited to the rally. The Chief Minister will also give pensions to such elderly people. The election code of conduct is likely to be imposed after two and a half months. Therefore, the government has less time. Keeping this in mind, the government is going to do works of social concern.
There is a possibility that the Chief Minister may make some new announcements today at the Panipat or state level. District Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gaurav Kumar said that 1062 beneficiaries of Panipat, Samalkha, Matalouda, and Israna areas who were to get 100–100 square yard plots under the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme could not be given those plots due to some legal hurdles and other reasons.
At the same time, District Social Welfare Officer Jaipan Singh said that 10 thousand people have applied for house repairs under the Dr BR Ambedkar Housing Scheme. The applications of such people are being examined. So far, 180 people have been identified. Out of these, 25 have been called on the spot.
