Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday night allocated portfolios to the cabinet ministers of the state. Week after the oath ceremony and few days after the cabinet expansion, Nayab Singh Saini announced the portfolios allocated to the cabinet ministers of the state.
According to the reports, Chief Minister Saini has kept portfolios of Home, Revenue and Disaster Management, Youth Empowerment, Information and Public Relations and Language and Culture, Mines and Geology and foreign cooperation with him.
During the tenure of Manohar Lal Khattar, important portfolio such as Home Ministry was with Anil Vij. It should be noted that Anil Vij has not got place in the council.
Cabinet Minister Kanwarpal has got the departments of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Heritage and Tourism and Parliamentary Affairs. In the previous government led by Khattar, JP Dalal held this portfolio.
At the same time, another cabinet minister Moolchand Sharma has been given the departments of Industry and Commerce, Labour, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. In the previous government he had transportation department.
Ranjit Singh has got the energy and jail departments which he had in the Khattar government also.
