Haryana: DC suspends Jhajjar Sarpanch, read to know why

DC Pradeep Dahiya has appointed ADC as the investigation officer for regular investigation of the suspended Sarpanch.

DC has suspended the Sarpanch in Jhajjar, Haryana. Action has been taken against the Sarpanch for getting the boundary wall constructed on more land than the limit. The Sarpanch has been removed from the post on the orders of the DC. DC Pradeep Dahiya has appointed ADC as the investigation officer for regular investigation of the suspended Sarpanch.

Sarpanch Jaya of village Chhara of Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district has been suspended with immediate effect. DC said in the orders issued that serious allegations have been leveled against the Sarpanch. As per the rules, it is not appropriate for him to continue in the post in the public interest. The suspended Sarpanch has been ordered to hand over whatever movable/immovable property of the Gram Panchayat he has to the Panch who has majority in the Gram Panchayat as per the rules.

In village Chhara, the Sarpanch had got the boundary wall constructed on more land of the graveyard on more land than the limit, due to which he has been removed from the post. There is about 1600 yards of land of the graveyard in Chhara. On which the boundary wall was to be built, but the Sarpanch got the boundary wall constructed on about 3600 yards of land.
