Sonipat: A tragic accident took place on Tuesday near village Rohna on National Highway-334B. The driver died after a sudden fire broke out in a moving car. The fire was so fierce that the entire car was reduced to ashes in no time. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade reached the spot. The fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control with great difficulty, but by then the car driver had lost his life.
Police said that the deceased in the accident has been identified as Deepak, a resident of Rohini, Delhi. Deepak was running a shop in the name of Mama-Bhanja Garments in Qutubgarh, Delhi. He was going from Rohtak to Rohini, Delhi on Tuesday. When he was passing near village Rohna, his car caught fire. Police say that the car is of the Tata company’s Altroz model. The reason for the fire is not known at present.
People present at the spot said that a car passing on the highway suddenly caught fire. The flames were so intense that the car caught fire. Due to this, panic spread on the highway. Passers-by immediately informed the police and fire brigade. Drivers passing on the highway stopped their vehicles, due to which there was a traffic jam on the highway too.
