Chandigarh: The Haryana government has started a new initiative for the girl of the state. An incentive amount of Rs 2500 will be given to all the girl students who takes admission in ITI.
A major initiative has been started by the Haryana government to promote the education of daughters. The state government has decided to give an incentive of Rs 2500 to all the female students admitted to ITI on Women’s Day. It has been said that female students taking admission for the first time on the coming Women’s Day can take advantage of this scheme.
The principal of Panipat Government ITI informed that there has been an increase in the number of girls in the ITI course. Due to this, the government has also started a new initiative for girls. Under this, every year on Women’s Day, regular female students of ITI will be given an incentive amount of Rs 2500.
Apart from this, the government already gives the girl students tool kits and Rs 11,000 per month. This amount is being sent to the accounts of the girl students in the academic session 2023–24. To provide skilled employment to the daughters, the government has decided to give scholarships to female students studying at ITI. This decision will prove to be effective for their future.
To get admission to ITI, students can apply online until June 21st. For admission in this course, the students should have their name, parent’s name, and birth certificate on the identity card, which is recorded in their tenth-grade mark sheet. It is also necessary to have a mobile number and email ID for OTP on the family identity card.
