There is some relief news for the people of Haryana. The government has taken a U-turn on the decision to implement the collector rate from August 1. The Haryana government has withdrawn the order to increase the collector rate from August 1. Now, a new letter has been issued in this regard and it has said that the collector rate will be implemented as soon as possible. The Haryana government had earlier issued a letter saying that the collector rate will be implemented from August 1. However, now this decision has been postponed.
Last year, the collector rate of land was increased from 12 to 32 percent. Due to being close to the country’s capital Delhi, land in NCR is very expensive, so the collector rate there was kept much higher than the rest of the districts. In these, the collector rate was increased by 20 percent in Rohtak, Palwal, Bahadurgarh, Sonipat, Karnal and Panipat and by 30 percent in Gurugram, Sohna, Faridabad, Pataudi and Ballabhgarh. This time too, the rates are expected to be higher here.
Collector rate is the minimum price of land in any district at which a real estate property can be sold to a buyer. Property registration takes place in tehsils at this rate. Collector rate keeps changing from time to time, depending on the location and market trends.
