Tired of the children taunts , the old man killed his mentally ill wife with stick, then called the police himself

A very heart-wrenching case has come to light in Panipat, Haryana. Tired of the taunts of the children, an old man living with his children in Deendayal Colony of Panipat killed his mentally ill wife by hitting her with a stick. Not only this, after killing his 68-year-old wife Geeta, the old age Laxman himself called the police at home and surrendered.

Geeta was mentally ill for the last 22 years. Geeta was undergoing treatment for a long time. But there was no significant improvement in her condition. The son and daughter-in-law also lived with the elderly couple at home. Laxman has said in his statement that both his son and daughter-in-law often taunted Laxman and his wife. They used to tell him that both of them were a burden for them.

Despite spending so much money on treatment, there was no significant improvement in Geeta’s condition. Laxman was very upset with the daily taunts of his son and daughter-in-law. And last he attacked Geeta on the head with a stick kept near the bed. After which Geeta died on the spot.

The police reached the spot and arrested the accused. The body was taken into custody and sent to the civil hospital for postmortem. On the basis of the complaint of the woman’s maternal family, the police have registered a case of murder against the accused husband, son and daughter-in-law.
