Hisar: On Tuesday (22 October) morning, in Hansi of Hisar district in Haryana, ASI committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his service revolver. The deceased has been identified as Raj Singh. He was posted as in-charge on Dial 112.
The police have taken the body in their custody and sent it to the Civil Hospital in Hansi. After the postmortem, the body will be handed over to the family. After the news of Raj Singh’s death, the family members reached the hospital.
The policemen posted with Raj Singh say that Raj Singh was talking incoherently for a week. According to the initial information of the police, Raj Singh lived on the first floor of Kuldeep Singh’s house in Umra village. At around 6 in the morning, he was sitting on a chair on the roof. Suddenly he took out his service revolver and shot himself in the head. Hearing the sound, the landlord reached the spot.
Raj Singh was bleeding from his head and his revolver was lying nearby. The house owner immediately informed the police officials. The officials arrived at the spot and sent Raj Singh’s body to the hospital.
On the other hand, the family has denied the fact that Raj Singh could commit suicide. The family has termed the death as mysterious and demanded a proper investigation into it. Raj Singh is survived by two children.
