The team of DC Mahavir Kaushik and SP Varun Singla also visited various polling stations in the city and took stock of the basic facilities. Also gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
Due to preparations to conduct the assembly elections fairly and peacefully, District Election Officer Kaushik and SP Singla on Friday inspected the strong room and counting centers built in the Haryana School Education Board campus. He took a close look at the security arrangements here. He took detailed information from the officials of the election office about the arrangements for keeping EVMs here and then delivering them for counting. He also gave the necessary instructions regarding the CCTV to be installed here.
SP said that there will be tight security at the strong rooms and counting centers. DC and SP visited the counting centers set up at BPS, TIT College, Vaish College, and Halwasiya Vidya Vihar. Here basic facilities like electricity, water, and toilets were seen. The election office and BLO were instructed to ensure the availability of electricity, drinking water, and toilets at all polling centers in the district on time.
