Chandigarh: Haryana State Commission for Women issues notice to Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala over his remarks against actor and BJP MP Hema Malini.
The notice read, “Chairman, Haryana State Women’s Commission, as per the orders, you are informed that the Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of the news published on various news channels/social media under the powers conferred under the Haryana State Women’s Commission Act, 2012, in which you are heard abusive language and comments using about Hema Malini (Artist), which is insulting to the dignity of a woman and indecent.
Haryana State women commission further said “you are ordered to ensure your presence on 09.04.2024 at 10.30 am in the Commission’s office and submit your clarification on the above.”
