The timings of all government schools in Haryana have been changed. The government has taken this decision due to Durga Ashtami. Under which all government schools in the state will open 2 hours late on April 5. On normal days, schools used to open from 8 am to 2:30 pm. But now, on Saturday, schools will open from 10 am to 2:30 pm.
The Assistant Director of the Directorate of Secondary Education, Panchkula issued a letter to all the District Education Officers (DEO) and District Elementary Education Officers (DEEO) of the state. In which orders were given that the timings of all government schools have been changed on the day of Durga Ashtami on April 5 (Saturday). The timings of the schools will be from 10 am to 2:30 pm. Which will be the same for teachers and students.
All DEOs and DEEOs were directed to ensure compliance by communicating this information to the schools under their control. No changes should be made in the school timings at their level. In schools with double shifts, the timing of the first shift will be from 10 am to 12:30 pm and the timing of the second shift will remain the same as other days, no change has been made in it.
