The Meteorological Knowledge Center in Chandigarh has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in 6 districts Yamunanagar, Ambala, Panchkula, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Kaithal for the whole day today.
During this time, lightning can also occur. At the same time, moderate to heavy rain can occur at some places in the surrounding areas. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain at 27 places in 7 districts till 1 pm. These districts include Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, and Panipat.
Apart from this, an alert for light rain has been issued at 34 places including Gurugram, Rohtak and Hisar.

22 July: Yellow alert has been issued in 9 districts of Haryana namely Ambala, Panchkula, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Panipat, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani. 75 to 100 percent of these areas may witness rain with thunder and lightning. There are chances of rain in 50 to 75 percent areas of Kaithal, Jind, Sonipat, Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Rewari, Faridabad, Palwal, Mewat and Sirsa.
23 July: There is a possibility of rain i.e. light rain in 25 to 50 percent area in 9 districts Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sirsa and Fatehabad.
