Chandigarh: Haryana’s budget will be presented on March 13, a day before Holi. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will present the first budget as Finance Minister in his second term. The government has released the tentative schedule of the budget session of the Haryana Assembly.

The budget session will begin with the Governor’s address on March 7. The duration of the session will be from March 7 to March 25. There are 9 sittings in it. There are 10 holidays in the 19-day schedule. The final decision on the duration of the budget session will be taken in the Business Advisory (BAC) meeting.

The session will begin with the Governor’s address

 On the first day, on March 7, the Governor’s address will be held at 11 am. After this, there will be a holiday on March 8 and 9. Then the address will be discussed from March 10 to 12. At the same time, the second installment of the supplementary estimate will be presented on March 12.

After this, on March 13, CM Saini will present the budget for 2025-26. After this, holidays have been shown from 14 to 16 March in the schedule. These holidays will be due to Holi. After this, budget estimates will be discussed on 17 and 18. Then there will be no meeting from 19 to 21.

CM will reply to the discussion on 24th March

There will be Saturday and Sunday holidays on 22nd and 23rd March. After this, CM will reply to the discussion on budget estimates on 24th March. Voting on the budget will take place on the same day. Legislative work will be done on the last day on 25th and the session will end.

There will be a budget provision for the Lado Laxmi Yojana

It is estimated that about 10 thousand crore rupees will be spent on the Lado Laxmi Yojana. A provision for the budget of the Lado Laxmi Yojana will be made in this budget. Under this scheme, the government will give 2100 rupees per month to the poor women of the state. Only those women will get the benefit of this scheme, whose age is between 18 to 60 years and are financially weak. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has already announced this.
