Chandigarh: On the occasion of Republic Day, Haryana’s CID Chief is being awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Services and 8 other policemen will be honored with Police Medal for commendable services.
Expressing happiness over this important achievement of the officers and jawans who, Haryana Director General of Police Shatrujeet Kapoor said that the tireless and continuous efforts of the officers and employees of Haryana Police have been recognized at the national level and it is a matter of pride for the entire police force.
He said that this achievement will boost the morale of the officers as well as other officers and jawans of the state police force. Congratulating the selected officers and jawans, he inspired them to perform similarly in the future as well.
CID Chief to get President’s Medal
According to the information given by Haryana Police, Additional Director General of Police Saurabh Singh, head of Haryana Intelligence Department (CID), will be awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Services. Saurabh Singh, who was awarded the Police Medal for better research work and services in the year 2018, is originally from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
During his 26-year tenure, this 1998 batch IPS officer has served as Superintendent of Police in Fatehabad, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Sirsa, Rohtak and Jind and Deputy Commissioner of Police Gurugram and Superintendent of Police Traffic.
