Palwal: In Haryana’s Palwal, a case of a deadly attack on a father-son sitting at a shop due to a minor quarrel has come to light. Chandhat police station has started the action by registering a case under various sections against 22 named and other accused on the complaint of the injured father.
According to Chandhat police station in-charge Dalbir Singh, Ram Singh, a Solda village resident, has complained that his son Pawan runs a grocery and hardware shop at the Solda bus stand in the village. Gaurav, a resident of the same village, runs a medical store in the neighbourhood of his shop. His sons, Pawan and Gaurav, argued over something.
Gaurav’s uncle is the village sarpanch, who asked his nephews and brothers to fight with him. The next day after the altercation, after planning at the Sarpanch’s office, the accused, Yogesh and Vipin, reached his son’s shop in four-five vehicles with 20–25 armed boys. At that time, the victim was also sitting with his son at the shop.
As soon as the accused arrived, they attacked his son, Pawan. When he tried to save him, they started beating him too. Hearing the noise of the fight, Mukesh, Narpat, Kusham, Rupan, Dharmvati, Ritika, and Hukam came from their house, and the accused attacked them with swords. When the accused, Tuhiram, fired at Narpat with the pistol in his hand, the magazine of the pistol came out and fell on the ground, and the bullet did not fire. After that, the accused also tried to set our shop on fire by pouring gasoline on it. About nine people were injured in this fight. It is alleged that the attackers also looted mobile phones.
The accused threatened that if anything was said to the Sarpanch’s family members, they would kill him. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case under various sections against Rampal, Satpal, Yogesh, Gaurav, Akash, Vipin, Mahendra, Rothi, Ammi alias Amir Singh, Prince, Tuhiram, Kripal, Nanak, Akash, Vikash, Seema, Chetram, Sukhbir, Devendra, Bijjan, Rampal, Man Singh, and others and have started the search.
