Last Friday night, two bikes collided head-on near the canal between Samsapur-Kaliyavas village of Charkhi Dadri. In the accident, bike rider Narendra (40), a resident of Samsapur, died, while a youth from Naugawan was injured. He has been referred to Rohtak PGI.
Investigating officer and ASI Vinod from Sadar police station said that Narendra used to run a mobile shop in Jharli. He used to commute on bike every day. On Friday night, he was returning to the village and at 9 pm, when he reached near the canal after leaving Kalivas village, his bike collided with another bike coming from the front.
In the accident, Narendra, a bike rider, and a person named Naveen, a bike rider, were injured. They were brought to Dadri Civil Hospital for treatment, but seriously injured Narendra died while Naveen was referred to Rohtak PGI.
Based on the statement of the deceased’s father Dilbagh, the police have registered a case against the driver of the other bike, Naveen, and started the investigation. After conducting the post-mortem of the deceased at Dadri Civil Hospital, the body was handed over to the family.
