Bikes, scooters, and cars suddenly caught fire in Haryana’s Hisar on Saturday morning. This was discovered when explosions started all of sudden there. People rushed to extinguish the fire and informed the fire brigade and dialed 112.
During this, people broke the glass of 2 cars and pushed them back. This saved these cars from burning, but 3 cars and 11 bikes, and scooties could not be saved. The fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire.
All these vehicles were parked by people outside the building. The cars that were caught were I-20, Swift and Venue. The person had bought the I-20 car just 4 months ago. The loss is said to be between 45 and 50 lakh rupees. The reason for the fire is not yet known.
A scooty caught fire outside a Silver Apartment located in DC MC Colony in Hisar at around 3:45 in the morning. The fire from the scooter engulfed the cars and bikes parked nearby. During this, the tyres of the vehicles started bursting. People woke up on hearing the sound of explosions and reached the spot.
Fire was extinguished with 40 liters of chemical foam
During this, Akash, who was going to Gurugram, informed the fire brigade and dial 112. People gathered at the spot tried to extinguish the fire on their own. They saved 2 vehicles parked there. Meanwhile, the fire brigade team and Urban Estate Police reached the spot.
Fire brigade employees said that the fire was not being extinguished with water, due to which the fire was controlled by using 40 liters of chemical foam.
