Hisar Airport’s second phase work complete, PM Narendra Modi likely to inaugurate

The responsibility of checking its preparations and coordination with the PMO is on Haryana Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi.

Hisar: PM Narendra Modi may come to inaugurate Haryana’s only Hisar airport. Its second phase of work is almost complete. Flights to 5 states will start from here. Time will be taken from the Prime Minister for this. The responsibility of checking its preparations and coordination with the PMO is on Haryana Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi.

Now on January 5, i.e. Sunday, the Chief Secretary is coming to Hisar on a holiday. He will take the current status of the airport project as well as other major projects from the administrative officials. The entire administrative lobby has become active regarding the visit of the Chief Secretary.

Hisar DC and Divisional Commissioner are getting the details of projects one after the other. On Wednesday, Civil Aviation Department Advisor Narhari Singh Bangar also reached the airport. Here he toured the entire airport sitting in the car.

During the Haryana Assembly elections, the Prime Minister held a rally in Hisar on 28 September 2024. This rally was held in the field adjacent to the airport. During this, PM Modi’s plane was landed at this airport. After the expansion of the runway, this was the first time that such a big plane landed here.

The Prime Minister had described Hisar Airport as beneficial for the farmers here. He had said that farmers can send their goods abroad from here.
