Narnaund Nagar Palika in Hisar has started an initiative to give new impetus to the development of the city. The work of construction of new lanes has started in Gautam Colony 2 at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore. Nagar Palika Chairman Shamsher Lohan inaugurated this work by breaking a coconut on Wednesday.
Chairman Lohan said that before the rainy season, the lanes of all the 8 approved colonies of the city will be paved. Tender will be issued soon for the repair of broken and uneven lanes. Regular cleaning of lanes is being done to deal with the problem of waterlogging in the rain.
Repair work of faulty lights is going on
The Nagar Palika has installed street lights in all the lanes of the city. Repair work of faulty lights is also going on. New sanitation workers will be recruited to improve the cleaning system. For this, a letter has been sent to the concerned department.
The Chairman said that the city will be made clean and green in a year. All the councilors are cooperating together in the development of the city. Women councillors will have a special role in the cleanliness system.
Demands were placed before the CM
A few days ago, a demand was also placed before Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini for the construction of a stadium and two parks in the city. On which the Chief Minister has assured to approve their demands as soon as possible. No shortage will be allowed in the development of the city. Problems of the wards are being taken from all the 16 ward councillors so that all the wards can be developed equally.
