Hisar: The highest expenditure in Haryana has been made by Sirsa MP Kumari Selja. In the accounts given to the Election Commission, she has shown her election expenditure as 90 lakh 53 thousand 257 rupees.
On the other hand, BJP candidate from Sirsa Ashok Tanwar received more donations than what he spent in the elections. He spent a total of 50 lakh 82 thousand rupees in the elections, while he received donations of about 52 lakh rupees from the party and other people.
According to the accounts given by the Election Commission, he has spent only ten thousand rupees in the elections. Similarly, Raj Babbar also got donations equal to the expenditure.
In Ambala Lok Sabha, BJP candidate Banto Kataria spent about 87 lakh rupees in her election. She received about 56 lakh rupees as donations. On the other hand, Varun Mulana, who won from Ambala Lok Sabha constituency, spent only 47 lakh rupees.
On the other hand, Kurukshetra Lok Sabha candidate Abhay Chautala spent 47 lakhs, BJP MP Naveen Jindal spent 77 lakhs and Congress and Aam Aadmi Party’s joint candidate Sushil Gupta spent 55 lakhs.
Candidates in Hisar have spent a lot of money in their campaigning. Congress MP Jaiprakash spent 85 lakhs, BJP candidate Ranjit Chautala spent 89 lakhs and JJP candidate Naina Chautala spent 65 lakhs.
BJP candidate from Sonipat Mohanlal Baroli has shown an expenditure of about 70 lakhs and Congress MP Satyapal Brahmachari has shown an expenditure of 82 lakhs. Congress MP from Rohtak Deepender Hooda spent 75 lakhs, while his opponent BJP candidate Dr. Arvind Sharma spent about 78 lakhs.
Congress candidate from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Rao Dan Singh spent about 82 lakhs and BJP MP Dharambir spent 76 lakhs in their election. At the same time, Gurugram MP and BJP candidate Rao Indrajit spent about 81 lakh rupees in the elections, while Congress candidate Raj Babbar spent about 52 lakh rupees and received the same amount in donations.
