Hisar’s longest bridge completed in 6 years: PWD Minister Ranbir Gangwa carries out inspection

Hisar: The work of the longest bridge has been completed in Hisar. Here both ROB and RUB have been built on the double railway line. After the completion of the bridge work, PWD Minister Ranbir Gangwa inspected here today. Former MLA Dr. Kamal Gupta was also seen with Ranbir Gangwa.

The minister and former minister inspected the ROB and underpass and reviewed the development work. On this occasion, Gangwa said that this bridge will reduce the traffic of the city and the public would get relief from jams. The tender for this bridge was placed in 2018 and work started in 2019. With the construction of this ROB and underbridge, the people of Surya Nagar, Urban Estate, Vidyut Nagar, Shiv Colony, Sector 3-5, Sector 1-4 including Mahavir Colony, Mill Gate Area will benefit a lot.

The length of this ROB is 1185 meters. About Rs 77.36 crore has been spent on this bridge. This bridge was to be completed in 2021 itself, but due to the Corona period and slow construction, it was completed 3 years late and its cost also increased from Rs 59.66 crore to Rs 77.36 crore.
