Samsuddin, a resident of village Silakhari, told the police station the police station in a complaint that he has ration depots in village Silakhari as well as Pawta and Gothra Mohabbatabad. On June 10, he was bringing wheat sacks for his depot from the grain warehouse located in Tigaon.
After unloading 189 sacks at the warehouse in Gothda Mohabbatabad, the vehicle left for Pawta. He was riding a bike ahead of the vehicle. Then, on the way to Pawta, Rajendra Bhadana, a resident of Gothra Mohabbatabad, met him. He stopped him and his vehicle at knifepoint.
He abused the driver, Arjun. He dragged everyone near the stadium. He made them sit there after threatening them.
The victim said that the accused snatched the phone of the car driver, Arjun, and broke it. He started demanding government wheat at knifepoint. Shamsuddin said that this is government ration; they cannot give it like this. On this, he kept them hostage for four hours. After this, the matter was reported on Dial 112. The police team came from there, but the accused argued with them too. They were released with difficulty.
The accused fled from there. Now the police are searching for the accused.
