Gurugram: Woman Sarpanch beaten up by grabbing her hair

She was getting the drain cleaned with JCB; Husband abused and beat her.

Haryana: In Gurugram, Haryana, the courage of the bullies in village Ghamdoz became so high that they beat up the female Sarpanch badly in public. In the presence of BDPO staff, the Sarpanch was beaten by holding her hair and pushed and thrown away. The female Sarpanch had gone to get the garbage from the drain cleaned. A complaint has been lodged with the police in the matter, but no action has been taken at the moment.

According to the information, Sadhna is the Sarpanch in the village Ghamdoz.

She had gone to remove garbage from the drain built in a public place in the village on Thursday. Employees of the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) office were also with her. Sarpanch Sadhna, her husband Manbir Singh and the village secretary were on the spot. When they were removing the garbage from the drain with a JCB, Lakhan, a resident of village Ghamdoz, reached the spot. He started abusing others there.

It is alleged that during this time Lakhan abused the female Sarpanch, then beat her by holding her hair and pushed her away. When her husband opposed this, he started beating him as well. During this, the woman Sarpanch was badly beaten up by grabbing her hair. There was a lot of uproar here.

A complaint has been lodged by the woman Sarpanch in Bhondsi Police Station. Police station in-charge Rajendra Pathak said that the matter is under investigation and a case will be registered soon.
