Sirsa: In Haryana’s Bhiwani district, Hafed allowed rotten wheat to be sent to the ration depot holder. The depot holder refused to unload it and complained to the food inspector. The team of food and supply inspectors reached the spot and took samples. At the same time, the quality in-charge manager from the Hafed warehouse has said to replace the bad wheat.

The matter is in Baliali village, Bawani Khera. When Hafed sent rotten wheat to the ration depot holder for distribution to the people, the depot holder refused to unload it and informed the Bawani Khera food inspector about it.

Baliali ration depot holder Rakesh said that wheat comes every month from the Hafed warehouse located on Jamalpur Road in Bawani Khera. Earlier, he used to go himself and get the wheat checked and loaded. But this time, when he reached the godown, wheat was already loaded in the truck. The department had sent 248 quintals of 97 kg of wheat. Which was completely rotten. Food and Supply Inspector Sanjay Kumar said that the quality charge manager had been called from the Hafed godown on the spot. Its samples will be taken, and information about it will be sent to the department. Clean wheat will be given to the depot holder for distribution. The Hafed manager talked about replacing the wheat. The quality charge manager of Hafed Godown Samundar said that since the wheat is kept in the open sky, the tarpaulin may have come off the sack. If there is rotten wheat in any sack, it will be replaced.
