Karnal: In Haryana, five rounds were fired by two bike-borne miscreants on a Verna car parked outside an office behind the bus stand in Karnal.
When the people around came out after hearing the sound of bullets, both the masked miscreants fled from the spot on a bike. As soon as the information was received, police teams, including the DSP, reached the spot and collected evidence. The police have registered a case based on the complaint and started investigating the matter.
Giving information, Amandeep, a resident of village Jani, said that he works in sending people abroad and has his office in Karnal itself. He had come to Karnal this afternoon to get the AC repaired. When he parked his car outside the office behind the bus stand and went inside the shop, he heard the sound of bullets being fired outside. When he came out and looked, two miscreants riding a Splendor bike were running away after firing about 5 rounds on the car.
Amandeep said that he has received threats from foreign numbers twice in the last 3 months. Both times, the accused said that he was the younger brother of Goldie Brar. Either give me 1 crore rupees or I will lose my life.
He said that even after the firing incident, he received a call from a foreign number. The accused said that this was just the trailer. If you do not give us the money, we will show you the full movie.
Civil Lines Police Station (SHO) Vishnu Mitra said that the police had received information about the firing. After which, the police reached the spot. The police have collected evidence from the spot. Further action will be taken based on the person’s complaint.
