Chandigarh: In Haryana government has announced the recruitment for Group C posts. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has again advertised 15755 posts in Group C.
The commission has fixed July 8 as the last date for applications for these posts. About two thousand new posts in Group C have been included in these posts. The posts come in groups 1, 2, 56, and 57. The commission is preparing to complete the written examination for the posts for which applications have been sought now in July.
The commission has started recruitment for the remaining posts in Group C, new posts in Group D, and new posts without socio-economic criteria.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court had declared these marks unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has also not pointed out any error in the decision of the High Court, so the Commission had to start the recruitment process as per the decision of the High Court.
Advertisements were also issued for these posts in 2018 and 2019. While the process was going on, the government announced the recruitment of Group-C-D posts through CET. Then the Commission withdrew these posts and issued a new advertisement in 2023. Now the Commission has again issued an advertisement and sought applications.
The government has made another big decision. For the first time in 10 years, recruitment is going to be done for 1200 JBT posts in the state. The Basic Education Department has sent a request letter to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission to recruit for these posts. By the way, the government has sent about 3500 new posts in Group C and 1200 posts in PRT to the Commission, on which recruitment will be done. With this decision by the government, this will be a good opportunity for unemployed youth dreaming of becoming teachers.
During the hearing, the Supreme Court said that through the Common Eligibility Test (CET), a meritorious student from another state gets 60 marks, and the local candidate also gets the same marks, but the local candidate got ahead of the candidate from another state only because he got 5 grace marks. How will you defend such a policy that a candidate is being given 5 marks without any effort?
