Haryana: In Haryana’s Palwal, a young man returning after doing Kokila Van Parikrama died after falling from a train. On the other hand, a labourer died after being hit by a train while crossing the railway line while going to Kokilavan.
After recording the statements of the family members, GRP handed over both the bodies to their family members after postmortem.
According to GRP investigating officer Dhaniram, on Saturday morning he received information that a young man had fallen from the train and his body was lying on the tracks near Rundhi station. On receiving the information, he immediately reached the spot with his team took the body in its custody and sent it to the district civil hospital. The body was identified as 16-year-old Ankit, a resident of Kailash Nagar.
The deceased’s brother Avinash said that he is a resident of Khajurka village from Pichhe and lives in a rented house in Kailash Nagar. Ankit left home late Friday night to go to Kokila Van Shanidham Uttar Pradesh. His father Devendra died in a road accident in 2018. The police took action on the basis of the statement and handed over the body to the family after postmortem.
According to GRP investigating officer Dhaniram, he received information that a person had died after being hit by a train. When he reached the spot with his team, he took possession of the body lying there. The body was identified as 45-year-old Satveer, a resident of Sallagarh. Satveer used to work as a laborer at a tent house.
Late Friday night, he left home to go to Kokila Van and got hit by a train while crossing the line, due to which he died on the spot. On Saturday, the body was handed over to the family after postmortem by GRP.
