Karnal: In Karnal district of Haryana, at Namaste Chowk, a road accident has happened. A couple was going to Delhi from Shimla suddenly when the Fortuner collided with the truck. The truck driver suddenly pressed the brake, and the accident took place. No casualties were reported in the accident, but the car was damaged badly.
People pulled the couple out of the car for some treatment and sent them to a nearby hospital. After giving them first aid, they have been returned to their homes.
Fortuner owner Kuldeep Singh said that he is a resident of Shimla and was going to Delhi with his wife. He said that suddenly the truck driver pressed the brake of the truck at Namaste Chowk; his car was just behind the truck. Due to the sudden brake of the truck, Kuldeep was not able to stop the car, and the car collided with the truck.
While colliding with the truck, a couple got some minor injuries due to the seat belt, but they were safe. People gathered at the incident site and pulled them out safely. Karnal Police reached the incident site as soon as they received the information. At the first instance of investigation, it was found that due to the sudden brake of the truck, it happened. The police have registered the case against the truck driver, and further investigation is going on.
