Panipat: In Panipat city of Haryana, a huge fire broke out in a shop. Due to the fire, the gas cylinder kept in the shop exploded. The fridge kept in the shop also caught fire.
As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot. The fire was brought under control after about one and a half hours of effort.
According to the information received, the accident took place at a tea shop outside PNB Bank located at Lal Batti Chowk in Panipat city. At around 4 am on Tuesday morning fire broke out under suspicious circumstances. Within a few minutes explosions started there. Passers-by informed the control room number about the fire. After which the fire department team reached the spot and started spraying water.
After extinguishing the external fire, the fireman went inside. Where he saw that the fire was near the second gas cylinder. The fire had almost reached it as well. Meanwhile, he extinguished the fire by pouring water on the cylinder and took the cylinder out safely.
This accident happened due to short circuit. In this fire incident, a gas cylinder kept in the shop exploded. Also, the fridge also blasted. Due to the blast, the shutter of the shop was uprooted and the building of the shop also got damaged. In this incident, all the goods kept in the shop were burnt and destroyed.
