Fatehabad: In the DC Colony of Fatehabad, Haryana thieves broke the locks of rooms and cupboards in a closed house , and stole 20 tola gold jewellery, 30 tola silver jewellery, and Rs 15,000 cash in broad daylight.
The incident happened during the day, and the family members had gone out. When the family returned at 6 in the evening, the ground slipped under their feet.
According to the information, Anil Kumar lives with his family in DC Colony. On Friday, at 11 a.m., he went to the village of Bhaana with family members to express condolences to the family. It is being told that someone died there. So the whole family had gone. When the family returned between 5 and 6 in the evening, they saw that the lock on the main gate of the house was broken. Inside the lobby, the locks of both the rooms and the cupboard were also found to be broken.
Anil Kumar said that when he went inside the house, he was stunned. All the stuff was scattered. The cupboard lock was broken, and 20 tolas of gold jewellery, 30 to 40 tolas of silver jewellery, and cash worth Rs 15,000 were stolen. The police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The forensic team also reached the spot. The police patrolling is also being questioned as the theft took place during the day.
