As there was less space inside the postmortem house, the bodies were lined up outside. Now the waiting has started for the postmortem. People have to wait for 24 to 30 hours.
On the other hand, health department officials say that no one has died due to the heat wave in the district so far, nor has any serious patient suffering from heat reached the civil hospital for treatment. Employees working in the mortuary say that the number of dead bodies has increased since the last three days. During the post-mortem, there were no marks of any kind of injury on the bodies of most of the dead bodies.
