Hisar: CM Nayab Saini inaugurated the second phase of the state’s first airport in Hisar, Haryana, which has been completed.
The CM said that the second phase of Hisar domestic airport has been inaugurated with 339 crores. It includes a fuel room, an expansion of the terminal building, the construction of the ATS building, an emergency route, and light arrangements. The second phase of the existing runway and taxiway has been completed.
While speaking, CM added that today is a proud day. The inauguration program of the new project has been held at Hisar Terminal. Apart from this, the foundation stone and inauguration of 28 works in Hisar district have been completed. Which will cost Rs 544 crore.
The work of the second phase of Haryana’s first airport has been completed. Today Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will inaugurate the completed projects of the airport.
Along with this, people of Hisar have been invited to this rally in the premises of the airport. People from all over the district will participate in this rally. The BJP government would like to put the roadmap of the development of the region in front of the people through Hisar Airport.
Let us tell you that the Haryana government has expanded the Hisar airport at a cost of Rs 1205 crore. This also includes the expansion of the airport’s runway which has been extended to 10 thousand feet according to international standards.
Now large-sized aircraft will be able to fly easily on this runway. The construction of the airstrip started on 27 October 2021. Today the Chief Minister will inaugurate all the works completed in the second phase. After this, the third phase of work will start at the airport. This work will be completed by 2030.
Flights to 5 states will start in August
Hisar airport is going to be connected to 5 states of the country soon. It has been announced by the government that flights are going to start from Hisar to Chandigarh, Ayodhya, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Jammu in August. An agreement has been reached with Alliance Air Aviation Limited regarding flights from Maharaja Agrasen Airport. People of the state will soon be able to fly from Hisar. An agreement was reached between the Civil Aviation Department of Haryana Government and Alliance Air Aviation Limited in Sector-1 Panchkula to promote air connectivity.
