JJP leader Ravindra Minna shot dead in Panipat; Neighbor carried out the incident

Along with Ravinder, two other people were also shot.

A Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader was shot dead in Haryana’s Panipat. JJP youth leader Ravinder alias Meena was shot dead by his neighbor at around 7:30 pm on Friday. Along with Ravinder, two other people were also shot.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the incident was committed due to enmity between a daughter-in-law and her husband. The accused is a resident of Ravinder’s native village Jagsi in Sonipat and lived in the same street as Ravinder in Vikas Nagar, Panipat. Both the injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Siva located on GT Road.

Ravinder alias Meena (32), a resident of Jagsi village in Sonipat, lived in street number two of Vikas Nagar in NFL, Panipat. He was at his house on Friday.

Family members said that Ranbir, Vineet and Vinay of village Jagsi also live in street number 2 of Vikas Nagar. Ravinder alias Meena’s sister-in-law was married to Ranbir’s sister-in-law. There was a dispute between the two for the last few days.

In the case of the shooting death of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Ravinder Minna in Panipat late on Friday evening, the attacker had also opened fire on the JJP leader along with his cousin and another person. Both were injured, while the JJP leader died. Panipat police said that 5 teams have been formed to arrest the culprits.
