Jind: Julana area of Jind in Haryana a girl was first married by deceit. After marriage, she was raped, and after two months, she was forcibly pushed into the quagmire of prostitution. Julana police station has registered a case against five people from Julana, Hisar, Bhiwani, and Mumbai under various sections, including rape, assault, hostage taking, and the SC-ST Act. The police are investigating.
In a complaint given to Julana police, a girl from Julana said that her acquaintance Saroj got her married to Laxminarayan Asija of Bhiwani.
Within 2 months of marriage, Laxminarayan Asija, his brother Ashok, Saroj’s son Shashibala, and Mumbai resident Sanjana started beating her. She was forced to do dirty work.
The girl said that when she refused to obey them, she was beaten up, abused with casteist slurs, and tied up. Lakshminarayan raped her continuously. After this, she was forced into prostitution. She somehow escaped from the clutches of the accused and came back and told her family about the incident.
Julana police station has registered a case against the five accused under various sections, including rape, hostage taking, forcing into prostitution, assault, and the SC/ST Act. DSP Rohtash Dhul said that an investigation is being done based on the complaint. The accused will be arrested soon.
