Iron pipe came in contact with voltage wire
According to the information, a pickup van full of Kanwariyas got ready for Haridwar from Gumthala village of Yamunanagar at around 6:30 am on Tuesday morning. These people went to the temple in the village to pay obeisance before going to Haridwar. After this, they were roaming around the village in the vehicle. During that time, this accident happened.
According to the police, the Kanwariyas had put a tarpaulin on the pickup van to avoid rain. An iron pipe was installed in the middle to stop that tarpaulin. When his vehicle was passing through the streets of the village, the iron pipe protruding above the tarpaulin came in contact with the high voltage line supplying electricity to the village. Due to this, current passed through the entire vehicle.
