Karnal: 10-year-old boy mauled to death by stray dogs

The child ran after the kite and went into the field. There the dogs attacked him and killed him by tearing him apart.

On Basant Panchami, a 10-year-old boy who went to pick up a cut kite was mauled to death by dogs. When the family reached the field searching for the child, the child had already died and the dogs were tearing him apart. The Gharaunda police station was informed about this incident. The police took the body into custody and sent it to Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College for postmortem. The child is originally from Bihar.

According to the villagers, Dalip, a resident of Bihar, lives in the village with his family. He had a son and two daughters. His only son Aditya was flying a kite on Sunday evening. During this, the kite got cut and fell in the wheat fields nearby. The child ran after the kite and went into the field. There the dogs attacked him and killed him by tearing him apart.

On the other hand, Dalip’s wife was searching for her son. When she heard the barking of dogs, Dalip and his family went towards the fields. There they saw that the dogs were tearing his son apart and his ten-year-old son was lying on the ground in a bloody state.

They chased away the dogs and picked up the son but by then the child had died. Seeing this, the child’s mother fainted. On receiving the information, other villagers also reached the field. Police was also called on the spot.
