A WagonR car suddenly caught fire on the National Highway in Karnal. The couple traveling in the WagonR was going to visit Chulkana Dham from Kurukshetra. Suddenly there was a short circuit in the car and the car burned to ashes. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police and fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire.
The WagonR car had a CNG kit installed. In such a situation, there was also a danger of a blast. Gaurav, a victim from Kurukshetra, said that suddenly a spark arose in the car, and the car was parked on the side. As soon as everyone came out of the car, the car caught fire, the whole car burned. To prevent the CNG kit from blasting, everyone stood away from the car and called the fire brigade vehicle.
The vehicle came and controlled the fire. If the CNG cylinder had been blasted, other drivers on the highway could have been harmed.
The victim said that he had thought that today is the first day of the year and he will visit Baba Khatu Shyam at Chulkana Dham. When he reached near Nirmal Kutiya in Karnal, the car caught fire on the overbridge itself.
Civil Line SHO Shri Bhagwan said that a WagonR car caught fire on the highway in Karnal. The fire brigade was called on the spot, the fire has been extinguished. The car belongs to Gaurav Saini, who was going to Chulkana with his wife. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The car was removed from the road with the help of a crane, investigation is going on.
