Karnal: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar unfurls National Flag on Republic Day

He lauded the efforts of farmers, scientists and youth in the development of the country.

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday unfurled the Tricolour on the occasion of 75th Republic Day in Police Lines ground. Following the unfurling of the flag, CM inspected the parade.

In a post on X, CM Khattar said, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen on the Republic Day, dedicated to India’s rich culture, democratic strength and the unity and integrity of the country. Come! On this great festival, take a pledge to increase India’s progress and pride as well as strengthen national unity.”

While addressing a gathering, he paid tributes to the jawans (Soldiers) who had scarified their lives for the country.

He lauded the efforts of farmers, scientists and youth in the development of the country.

“I feel proud having hoisted the flag on Republic Day in Karnal for the first time. I love the people of Karnal. It is the land of Karan who was a great alms-giver. I extend my greeting to the people of Haryana,” said the CM.
