Agroha: In Landhdi village of Agroha, Hisar, a person was swindled of 60 lakh rupees in the name of sending him abroad. On the complaint of the youth, a case has been registered in Agroha police station against four accused: Mahendra of Karnal, resident of Madhuban, Shivkumar resident of Jhimrehadi, Sant Singh Bhukkal resident of Rehad Kalan, and Vishal Kumar resident near Ganda Nala Mughal for swindling lakhs of rupees in the name of sending him abroad.

Ajit Chauhan told the police in his complaint that being troubled by unemployment due to not getting work, he contacted Mahendra of Madhuban, Karnal, who is his uncle by relation and practices as an advocate in Karnal court. When he contacted him for work, his uncle Mahendra introduced him to Karnal advocates Shiv Kumar Kadian, Sant Singh Bhukkal, and Vishal Kumar.

Ajit Chauhan said that uncle told me that these people get jobs for children educated abroad. Also, they make all the arrangements themselves, including the visa. Apart from this, they take all the payments only after reaching the country. When I expressed my desire to go abroad, the accused asked for Rs 60 lakh.

Ajit’s father sold a plot and gave Rs 34 lakh to uncle Mahendra Singh Chauhan and his wife Reshma in October 2023. After this, 26 lakhs were transferred to the accounts of the remaining accused.

In December 2023, the accused sent him to Russia instead of America. When he asked for his money back from the accused, the accused sent him to Dubai on March 7. Sent to Africa on March 17 and had to come back to Delhi on March 18 due to non-entry.
