Panipat: A liquor contractor was stopped on the road and threatened in Panipat, Haryana. Bike-riding criminals demanded monthly payments from him. Taking the name of a gangster, the criminals said that if they wanted to work there, they would have to pay 50 thousand rupees per month.
They also threatened him with dire consequences if he did not pay the money. The scared contractor has complained about the matter to the police. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against unknown people under sections 308 (2), 126 (2), and 3 (5) BNS.
In the complaint given to the Tehsil Camp police station, Ayub said that he is a resident of Bhola Chowk. He works as a contractor. It was around 1 to 2 p.m. on July 10. He was going to Noorwala to buy a cooler. On the way, some unknown people on bikes stopped him.
After this, they started threatening him. Threatening them, they said that if they want to run contracts in their area, they will have to pay Rs. 50,000 per month to Sohna Kalwa. The accused also said that this is their area, and other contractors have also paid money to Sohna Kalwa.
Contractor Ayub said that he has taken contracts for the first time. He has one contract in Bhola Chowk and another in Rajiv Colony. In the last 10 days, this is the second threat he has received in the name of Sohna Kalwa. He has personally found out that the accused, Sohna Kalwa, is an Indrajit gangster. More than 10 cases have already been registered against him. He and his family are in danger from him.
