Rohtak: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, is starting a new course of BTech and MTech for Working Professionals at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) from 2024–25.
UIET Director Prof. Yudhveer Singh said that from session 2024–25, AICTE-approved BTech-Civil Engineering, BTech-Electrical Engineering, BTech-Mechanical Engineering, MTech-Mechanical Engineering, MTech-Power Systems, and MTech-Computer Science and Engineering courses have been started for working professionals. Online applications for admission can be made by July 20. Counselling for admission will start on August 25.
Prof. Yudhveer Singh said that 60 seats are available in B.Tech-Civil Engineering, 60 seats in B.Tech-Electrical Engineering, 60 seats in B.Tech-Mechanical Engineering, 15 seats in M.Tech-Mechanical Engineering, 15 seats in M.Tech-Power Systems, and 15 seats in M.Tech-Computer Science and Engineering.
He said that working professionals will get benefits like flexible timing of classes, career advancement, education with a job, and classes on weekends or evenings in these courses. Other detailed information, including eligibility for admission, can be obtained from the university website.
