In the complaint given to Chandnibagh police station, Sunita Devi said that she is originally from the village of Ugra Khedi. Currently, she lives in Ekta Vihar Colony. She had hired a woman named Kusum to work at her house. Before May 2, Sunita had gone to her maternal home. She returned after about 7 days.
After returning, she checked the box kept in the house. Jewellery was found missing from it. Among the jewellery, a gold necklace, a 1.5-ton gold needle and thread, a half-ton gold ring, earrings, anklets, three silver coins, a daughter-in-law’s mangal sutra, and some steel utensils were missing. Sunita says that this theft was committed by the maid, Kusum.
