Sonipat: A shocking case of domestic violence emerged from Bhainswan Khurd Village in the Baroda Police Station area of Gohana, Sonipat, where a man stabbed his wife to death following a dispute. The accused, identified as Sahil, fled the scene after the murder. Upon receiving information from local residents, the police arrived at the spot, and forensic teams collected evidence. The body of the deceased, 22-year-old Nisha, was taken into custody and sent for postmortem at Khanpur Medical College.
According to initial investigations, the crime took place around midnight following a heated argument between Sahil and Nisha. In a fit of rage, Sahil attacked his wife with a knife, fatally slitting her throat. Tragically, Nisha had given birth to a child just two months ago, leaving the infant without a mother.
Shahil later confessed the crime to his mother. Upon rushing to the scene, his mother found Nisha lying dead.
