Rohtak: The district level celebration of the 76th Republic Day is being organized on 26 January at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium in Rohtak. In which the state’s Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Pawar hoisted the tricolor flag as the chief guest.
Rohtak DC Dhirendra Khadagta said that the Development and Panchayat Minister paid tribute to the martyrs by offering a wreath at the state level war memorial located at the local MDU. During the Republic Day celebrations, 10 contingents are participating in the march past in the parade.
Floats of welfare schemes will be taken out
At the same time, 3235 students of 27 schools are doing group physical exercises. In the Republic Day celebrations, students of Ladhot Gurukul and yoga practitioners of the Sports Department are doing Mallakhamb and other yoga asanas. Students of 8 schools are giving various cultural presentations based on the Constitution and imbued with the spirit of patriotism.
Splendid tableaux will be taken out by 17 departments showcasing welfare schemes. The chief guest will honour the great people who have done excellent work in various fields. During this, the chief guest will flag off 5 electronic buses running in Rohtak.
